You want them gone, but if you push too hard, you end up scorching the surface or killing that deep, mirror-like gloss. It all comes down to how you handle the heat.&#xA;That’s why we lean on short-wave infrared (SWIR) lamps. Instead of baking the top layer into a hard skin—which just traps the solvents underneath—SWIR dives straight through the coating. It pushes the solvents out from the bottom up.
